Strawberry powder has super benefits when it comes to your health and exercise regime and here’s why. It is a fantastic source of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants all of which promote muscle growth. It has a strong presence of Vitamin C which helps protect cells from free radicals. Those that lift heavy or participate in endurance sport will be pleased to know that Strawberries are rich in vitamin K, a lesser well known of the vitamins but one essential for supporting bone health and reducing the long-term risk of fractures.

Strawberries are among the dark berry variety of fruits, which are generally known for having less natural sugar than other fruit. They are particularly good to incorporate into a healthy eating plan or calorie-controlled diet. They have a low Glycemic Index (GI) which means they don’t spike blood sugar levels and have a very low Glycemic Load (GL) which means they have much less sugar per gram, than any other fruit.

The insoluble fibre in our strawberry powder will help you feel fuller for longer and prevent the need to reach for the biscuit barrel!

What is special about our High Plant Protein Blend?

Our Protein blend has been carefully chosen to contain the Essential Amino-Acid (EAA) profile made up of pea protein, pumpkinseed protein and sunflower seed protein. The essential amino-acid profile is often known to be ‘the building blocks of protein’ and essential for building muscle (specifically from Leucine), repairing tissue and other critical process’ within our bodies. Lysine has been recognised for balancing blood sugar (glucose) levels, beneficial if you are diabetic or watching your sugar levels.

Pea Protein, some vegan protein sources have been doubted for their lack of protein to really build muscle, however pea protein is one of the best vegan sources of protein due to its high concentration including BCAA’s (Branch Chain Amino Acids). Pea protein is one of the few vegan sources known for its ease within the digestive tract, great if you suffer from digestion problems.

Pumpkin Seed Protein has as an abundance of iron ensuring your energy levels remain constant throughout the day, low iron levels can be a challenge with veganism.

Sunflower Seed Protein is rich in Methionine completing the Essential Amino Acids (EAA’s). Sunflower protein has seen significant benefits when used by endurance athletes and bodybuilders.

Turmeric, we use Turmeric in all of our Vegan Protein blends, not for flavour, but for its super healing properties to help your body recover and heal naturally from everyday stresses and indeed exercise. Turmeric is one of the worlds wonders when it comes to food, it has been scientifically proven to reduce inflammation (such as joints) and painful degenerative arthritis; helps prevent disease and lift your mood and who doesn’t want a mood lifter
