Essential Food Information
The launch of Essential Food heralds a new approach to total nutrition. Essential Food’s formula is organic, the first of its kind, and contains nutrients in natural occurring formats. This, coupled with high bioavailability, makes for a food supplement that serves as a natural foundation for health but primarily as a formula for boosting energy levels.

Pre-Sprouted Barley’s effect on the body’s system has two distinct stages. Firstly, many of the enzymes present in Pre-Sprouted Barley support the body’s cellular uptake of oxygen and, as a result, the product gives the metabolism a boost quite shortly after ingestion. Super oxide Dismutase, a powerful anti-oxidant avoids cellular deterioration at this stage and thus facitates greater oxygenation.

Essential Food’s potency revolves round the inclusion of one key ingredient: Pre-Sprouted Barley. Via a new patented process all the enzymal and nutrient activity in the barley grain, just prior to sprouting, is captured. This new medium has the potential to generate 400% more energy than conventional Barley and contains a host of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, essential fatty acids and enzymes.

Pre-Sprouted Barley has an 11% protein content but, more importantly, the ratio of the eight essential amino acids within it virtually mirror that of the human body’s. This means, in plain terms, a far easier and effective assimilation of essential protein.

Secondly, Pre-Sprouted Barley’s soluble fibre content becomes gelatinous when ingested into the intestinal tract. This gelatinous medium protects its nutritional content from unwanted reactions in the digestive tract. It also provides a medium for sustained, stable energy and nutrient release as well as reinforcing the staggered release of energy from Pre-Sprouted Barley’s complex carbohydrate content. These two stages of energy release make Pre-Sprouted Barley quite unique as a foodstuff and a potent ingredient in the Essential Food formula.

ALL KEY NUTRIENTS
With Pre-Sprouted Barley as an initial constituent, a selection of organic and natural ingredients were added to create what is, in essence, a super food formula that contains all key nutrients. Supported by the natural enzymes present in many of these sources and other factors such as flavonoids, the bioavailability of all ingredients in Essential Food is greatly enhanced.

Flaxseed
Rich in Omega 3 and Omega 6 essential fatty acids (EFA’s) and lignans, Flaxseed assists Essential Food in generating cellul ar energy. Recent research has shown that EFA’s also act as signals to the body’s key organs, such as the heart and liver.

Quinoa
Quinoa, the South American grain, is included in the formula for its high protein content and wide range of nutrients.
